Setting Up Your Team

Overview

QR Dex is built for teams. Whether you are a small business with a few employees or a large organization managing hundreds of QR codes, the team workspace gives everyone a single place to create, organize, and track QR codes together. This guide explains how teams work and how to configure yours.

How Your Team Is Created

When you sign up for QR Dex, a team is automatically created for you and you are assigned as its owner. There is no separate setup step -- your team workspace is ready to use as soon as you complete registration. Every QR code you create is associated with your team, which means your colleagues will be able to see and manage those codes once they join.

What Team Features Include

Working as a team in QR Dex unlocks several collaborative capabilities:

  • Shared QR code library -- Every QR code created by any team member lives in a single, shared library. No more passing files around or wondering who created which code.
  • Centralized analytics -- Scan data for every QR code rolls up into one dashboard so the entire team can monitor performance without switching between accounts.
  • Unified billing -- One subscription covers the whole team. The owner manages the plan and payment method from a single billing page.
  • Member management -- Invite new colleagues, remove people who leave, and keep track of who has access at any time.

Configuring Your Team

After signing up, take a moment to configure your team so it is easy for everyone to identify and use:

  1. Open your team page. Click Team in the top navigation bar to open your team page, then click the Edit button.
  2. Set your team name. Enter a descriptive name that your members will recognize, such as your company name or department. This name appears throughout the interface and in any shared links.
  3. Configure default settings. Review the default options for new QR codes, such as default redirect behavior and analytics preferences. Setting sensible defaults saves time for every team member who creates a code later.
