Overview
Adding people to your QR Dex team is quick and straightforward. Once a colleague joins, they immediately gain access to the shared QR code library, analytics dashboard, and all the tools they need to create and manage codes alongside the rest of the team. This guide covers the full invitation workflow as well as ongoing member management.
How to Invite a Team Member
Follow these steps to send an invitation:

Go to your team page.
Click Team in the top navigation bar to open your team page.

Start the invitation.
Click the Invite members button to start the invitation process.

Enter the email address.
Type the email address of the person you want to invite into the invitation field. Make sure the address is correct -- the invitation link will be sent directly to this email.

Click Send Invitation.
Press the Send Invitation button. QR Dex will send an email containing a unique link that lets the recipient join your team.

The invitee accepts the invitation.
The person you invited will receive an email with a link to join your team. If they already have a QR Dex account, they will be added to your team immediately after clicking the link. If they are new to QR Dex, they will be guided through a quick signup process first.
Managing Your Member List
Click View all members on your team page to see everyone who currently belongs to your team. From this view you can:
- View member details -- See each member's name, email address, role, and the date they joined the team.
- Remove a member -- If someone leaves your organization or no longer needs access, click the remove option next to their name. Removing a member revokes their access to the shared QR code library and analytics immediately. The QR codes they created remain in the team library.
Handling Expired Invitations
Invitations are valid for a limited time. If an invitee does not accept before the invitation expires, you do not need to start over. Find the expired invitation on your team page and click Resend. A fresh email with a new link will be sent to the same address. You can also cancel an outstanding invitation at any time if it is no longer needed.
Tips for Managing Your Team
- Review your member list periodically to make sure only the right people have access.
- When an employee leaves your organization, remove them promptly to keep your workspace secure.
- If a colleague reports that they did not receive the invitation email, ask them to check their spam or junk folder before resending.
- Team invitations are available on all QR Dex plans.
